"This hotel was perfect for what we wanted/needed. Somewhere the kids could enjoy and the swimming pool made that just right. The food for dinner and breakfast was so well thought out. "I needed somewhere that was able to do late check-ins, as I had a long drive late at night to get there - this hotel appears to have round the clock reception, and it was no trouble arriving late at night (after 11pm) - hotel's own website claims 24/7 reception desk, which reassured me. "Not really one for leaving reviews. Especially negatives ones but this was truly awful. We arrived pretty late on the Thursday night so the bar was closed, which is fair enough. Tried the vending machine to get some drinks for the evening and it didn’t work. Again, these things happen. Hard to know if the tap water is ok without drinking water labels on the taps. Normally it means don’t drink if it doesn’t say drinking water. Again small things that aren’t really issues. We had a family room....
