"The food was decent and the staff was friendly. The property itself has some serious decay. For example all the tile on the roof of our building was broken and chipped. Some of the ornate lamps that lit the property looked like they had been vandalized. To save money they cut corners all over the place. Tiny 5 ounce glasses for a coke with dinner. "Most incredible place we’ve ever stayed! The views were phenomenal, food was delicious, service & staff were amazing. We had our 4 yr old with us and there was so much for them to do as well. The hot springs were wonderful & so close to the rooms. A short drive away from La Fortuna and also Mistico park for rainforest adventures. "Our family absolutely loved our stay at Tamarindo Diria. We are talking about coming back and inviting more family to join us. The hotel is beautiful. Rooms are simple and clean. "The resort is quiet and boring. Couldn't do too many activities due to them saying we couldn't have 2 people it needed to be a party of 4 minimum. Food was good and some of the staff were friendly but most of them didn't speak or were that helpful. The beach is nice if you're into it.I wouldn't go back and I left 2 days early rather then staying the whole trip."

"This property has an incredible view of the volcano and the most amazing trails right on the property. The property is full of wildlife, and we were able to watch spider monkeys swinging from the trees from the balcony of our room, as well as watch a variety of native birds and other native creatures without going anywhere else.
