"Good location on the beach. Got Montezuma’s revenge from the water. Be careful. Food was good and plentiful but all vegetables and fruits were washed in water, ice cubes from water, “watered” down booze in the room and free drinks also were “watered”down. Spent 2 days in bed and bathroom. In a place that is 80 and 90 degrees everyday with high humidity it’s hard to navigate around not drinking or eating anything associated with water, not using ice. Minibar in room has can sodas and large sealed...

"We had an amazing experience at Arenal Observatory. The staff was super friendly and bilingual. They even left special treats in our room for us :D Transportation was easily accessible and the trails were beautiful and well maintained. The restaurant served delicious food and has a great view! I highly recommend booking the shared casona. The rooms were spacious and clean and it has a small observation deck right next to the entrance! My only complaint is I wish there was a microwave and fridge...

We also had an issue with reservations. The person we were speaking with was unreasonable and unaccommodating. We were overcharged double and not refunded. "
