"Hi This will be the last time we write a review for the Bayview after nearly 30 years of stays due to the closure in October by the new owners for long overdue renovations it really does need. For 99% of the staff I truly wish well with whatever their futures hold for them and good luck in retirement for others as well deserved! "Hotel is very nicely presented, buildings and pools look impressive although things seem a bit tired when you look in detail. Food was ok, but also missing the Malaysian restaurant all week so that was limiting. Breakfast buffet ok nothing amazing. On a plus so many loungers by the pool and beach.
But one major problem, where we stayed on the resort there is a music venue over the road and it plays music all night Fridays and Saturdays, still music going at 9am! Could not sleep. Be warned,...

"Firstly, let me start by saying we were staying as a couple and didn’t realise it was the school holidays in south east Asia, so this definitely colours my review. The pool area looked amazing when we arrived, but the entire time we were there it was completely crowded with kids - who were having an amazing time and it’s definitely a great resort for families. For us, it was so noisy, overcrowded and you couldn’t get an alcoholic drink until 3pm… and even then, there never seemed to be anyone...
