"Two windows facing Grassmarket do not close, the street noise lasted till 3am. Stand lamp does not work. Sleepers had to be requested and paid. Not enough US charging ports. The floor cracks when walking on it. "

"Ubicación: muy buena. En una calle semi peatonal con restaurantes y cafés. El hotel está muy bien pero se está empezando a notar el paso del tiempo en mobiliarios. El desayuno es buffet y se puede pedir algunos platos a la carta. El precio varía (en mi caso elegí una oferta) pero hay varios lugares para desayunar. "Elevator was broken and a porter did kindly carry our bags up, but there was no other assistance offered. We were on the 6th floor, and it was a real hike. Staff wouldn’t even provide a bottle of water gratis considering the situation. Felt very badly for several older guest who were struggling with stairs and front desk offered nothing but a shrug when they stopped by asking for help. Pictures overstated how nice the room was. Great location, but not worth the $350 we paid."

"We arrived at the hotel at 9 AM knowing we were very early for check in. We left our luggage with the woman at the desk and she helped us find a place nearby to have our laundry done. When we returned around 1:30, our room was ready. As a nice surprise, we were upgraded to a larger room."

"We were in room 113 and it was horrible. I booked 10 months in advance and got the worst room in the place. The windows were painted over so we didn’t see the bin area that would have been our view.
