"We checked in late night, sadly they have no room for the type of room that I have paid. I paid for executive room and the manager said that they are overbooked hence, can only give me a standard room (thats the only room left for that day). Helllowww, I have prepaid all my rooms and yet the hotel gave my room to someone who paid even lesser than me. "I give it a 3 stars because of the location. It feels a bit sketchy. So be alert. You also have to carry luggage up the stairs for the 3rd floor. The staff walks away from front desk constantly for other tasks so you have to patiently wait when you need access to go inside the Hotel."

"Staff was very nice! Amazing location and close to a metro station. There was a bit of mold in the shower. Also, don't be fooled by the pictures : we paid good money for the deluxe corner room as shown on many pictures, thinking we were going to have an amazing view of the water. However, we did not have this view at all and we were a bit disappointed as it is not written anywhere that the room would have a totally different view."

"I enjoyed my stay at The Royal National. The only thing to mention is you can get a bit of noise from the courtyard bar in the evening, but that's it. The room was nice and clean, and the breakfast was excellent. Something for every taste."

"The room was clean but very basic, breakfast was brilliant and the staff were lovely, especially the cleaning staff, they were always welcoming with a smile and even attended our room hours after they'd done everyone else's as we spent almost a whole day relaxing in the room and then when we went out for dinner, they somehow knew and went in to freshen the room up which was greatly appreciated and totally unexpected given we hadn't seen them working on the floor when we left"

"Very comfortable bed, which is important, but the experience was hit or miss in many respects. Positives: Location. Very central and plenty of good restaurants in the immediate area. Across from tube station. Negatives: room was musty. It was better when we turned off the air conditioning (moldy air) and opened the windows. Breakfast was not worth the price so we only ordered it one morning (there are many great breakfast places right near the hotel)."

"The facility was excellent and the proximity to everything was perfect. The tube is only two blocks away which made getting around easy. The breakfasts were first class, delicious and always hot. A very nice selection too. Room care was excellent."
