"There are several things that need improvement at this lodge. Upon arrival we were not treated in a friendly manner. He acted like we were interfering with his time when we arrived. We arrived early and he said it would be a $35.00 extra charge for early check in . So we left and looked for something to do until our check in time. "Hotel is under renovation so area on main floor is being used for storage of doors. Room was average. Was not able to sleep as other guest was knocking loudly for a lengthy period next door.
All pillows were soft and we were not able to get comfortable after attempting to switch out pillows. Suggest having variety of soft, medium and firm.
