"I had a work trip so I was exhausted. First arrival everything was great. I had an early check in and the black woman at the front desk was awesome. The best customer service I had in a while. My room was ready before time. The room was perfect, very clean and cute. It was very quiet, I wasn't disturbed by housekeeping. Breakfast was good, lot of variety. "There was no breakfast buffet. We did not order breakfast from the bar. One elevator was out of order. Access to an electrical outlet for my computer was difficult. I had to crawl on the floor and reach under a piece of furniture to access the outlet."

"Zelda Dearest is charming in every way. Walking into the building feels like coming home. The room was well stocked, delightfully decorated and incredibly comfortable. The staff was above and beyond lovely to interact with and very helpful. The location is an easy walk to downtown. I cannot say enough positive things about our stay."

"Fantastic location. Amazing main Inn architecture. The tiny streets are daunting the first time you try to navigate out of the inn, but totally fine once you know where you're going. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Asheville in the future. "

Only gripe was the $12 per day parking charge. Didnt know about it until I reached. But all in all a superb hotel"

Breakfast area was a little crowded, but we were able to secure a table both days. The hotel is located right by historic Biltmore Village and near Biltmore Estate entrance. "Rooms were great, location didnt matter, price was good. Only complaint is it's wood frame building and you hear every step from guest on floor above. Sounded like a dance was going on in the morning. So either request the top floor or hope the room above you is vacant or they sleep in. "
