Beach was great! Property was small so we could always get a bed on the beach. Pool was never over crowded. Staff was friendly and polite.

The room was beautiful and very clean, the bed was super comfortable. The sheets were soft. The location is excellent. It is right on the beach and right around the corner from the main drag. The only reason I am not giving it five stars is because the water pressure in the shower was crazy. I don’t understand this fixation with a rain nozzle. It comes straight down on your head with absolutely no water pressure. You cannot get soap out of your hair there’s no pressure. Plus, it was very hard to work the hot/cold knobs and get it regulated. That is the only reason I don’t give this hotel all the stars. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. Our last night of seven nights was a little bit annoying because they had their staff holiday party and it was incredibly noisy until 1 AM so I’m not sure I would stay there again during the week prior to Christmas. Other than that, it was a great stay and a great vacation..

The staff here is lovely. This hotel is located on a beautiful stretch of beach on Playa Norte with soft white sand. The sea is rather shallow and very safe for swimming. The beach bar offers food and drinks that you can enjoy in the shade of your umbrella on your platform "beach bed". Also, the included daily breakfast was delicious. This location is also very convenient as it is walkable to the Centro area restaurants and shops. I highly recommend it!

It is such a beautiful and clean property. The breakfast is amazing. The pool is beautiful and overlooks the beach. It is really nice to have a reserved bed on the beach with wait service. Can't beat this location! We would absolutely book here again.

Casa del Jaguar is a beautiful and very nice boutique hotel with very helpful staff. The location is perfect if you want to stay at Playa Norte. It’s on the beach, but also a very convenient and easily walkable few blocks to the main streets for food and shopping on the north side of the island, and actually about a 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The front desk was very helpful with things like renting golf carts, locating various places, and getting around the island. Be aware that the front desk does close at about 10pm each night, so you’ll have to make arrangements in advance if you arrive too late. The restaurant is nice, with friendly staff and right on the beach, and has good food. But because it’s a hotel/resort restaurant, it can be a little more expensive than other places in town. Overall, if you’re looking for a boutique beach front resort experience, then Casa del Jaguar is a great place to stay in Isla Mujeres.

We spent December 30 and 31 at this property. The island was hopping, rowdy and joyous. Casa del Jaguar was a quiet, elegant oasis from the partying when we needed it. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts, quiet and restful nights of sleep and a fantastic NYE day spent on a daybed in front of the hotel with outstanding service from Gaspar. Special shout out to the receptionist (one was from Brazil and the other from Argentina) who made our check-in super easy and were very welcoming. Also, Federico, from Argentina, who I believe was the restaurant manager was always available to help us with questions and provided solutions. We were four Spanish speakers who live in Yucatan. Our trip was quick and easy in that there were no flights involved, and the ferry was always on time (and not that crowded). It was one of our best trips to Isla Mujeres, and I can't recommend Casa del Jaguar enough. The featured comfortable beds, blackout shades, large balconies, appropriate amenities, etc. Our vist there was about as perfect as it gets.

The hotel is a quiet, gem located in the chaos that is Playa Norte. The hotel staff was attentive and friendly. The ocean front pool was perfect for people watching and not having to reserve beach loungers was a huge plus. We are looking forward to our next stay.

The hotel is very relaxing and the rooms are spacious. The breakfast in the morning was perfect to get you going with a view of the ocean as well. There’s even a pool that allows for some relaxation and escape from the sun. A perfect retreat, which still allows you to explore the village.
