"This inn is beautifully restored! The furnishings and details are amazing! Breakfast was delicious and the cookies, wine, and charcuterie in the evening were a nice added touch. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. Staff was warm, friendly, and welcoming. Parking lot is a added plus."

"Room was lovely with a fireplace and a balcony overlooking the garden. The property is historic, but the bathrooms have been remodeled, so are modern. The location is fantastic--easy walk to Fishermans Wharf, restaurants and historic sites, right in Old Town Monterey. Staff were lovely. The breakfast was fine. No room service or luxury hotel amenities, but to me the charm and historic ambiance more than make up for that. "

"Excellent value, steps from the Aquarium, Cannery Row, and stunning ocean walkway towards Pacific Grove which I took advantage of both mornings. Watch the otters and seals play around in the kelp and the pelicans doing their morning patrol along the coast line. No frills clean room with safe, coffee station, even has a bit of an ocean view. The only minor nuisance was the street noise early in the morning which the thin window panes do little to block out. "

"Beautiful room, parking outside the door, this re-modeled old school motel was a treat. Nice bed and great shower! The only thing missing for us, it would have been nice to have real coffee in the lobby, since we had to leave the premises for some to get the day started. A nice area to find on our stop going thru the area at the end of our vacation week. "
