"Hotel Histórico Central was truly the heart of our Mexico City adventure. The location couldn’t be better, just 2–3 blocks from the Zócalo and surrounded by incredible historical sites. Tour buses to outside excursions and the Touribus all meet right in that area, making it the perfect home base for exploring. "The staff at the hotel was wonderful and they were always friendly and willing to offer assistance. The hotel is beautiful and directly in the historic city center. The free breakfast was delicious and so was the restaurant. Loved the hotel! Expedia should have notified us that there was a huge protest (with noise) out in front of the hotel and the Zocolo was closed to access. The Zocolo was one of the main reasons we stayed in this area, so we were disappointed. "

"We absolutely loved our stay here. Everything was really clean, the staff was very helpful and responsive. The aesthetics were top notch. You can tell everything was carefully thought out. The only thing we were not too fond of was the food. The view on the rooftop was so beautiful however so it made up for it . Def would recommend staying here "

"Everyone at Casa Donceles was extremely welcoming and accommodating. The room was also very clean and larger than we expected. Not to mention it is a very short walk to some of the best historic sites in the city. We will definitely consider staying here on future trips to CDMX. "

"This hotel has ruined me for all other hotels! This boutique hotel was a peak experience for our stay in Mexico City. It is located on a lovely, quiet street, only about a 10 minute walk to the historic city center sights of the Cathedral, the Zocalo, and Templo Mayor. The surrounding streets are pulsing with foot traffic and small shops. It is not tourist territory and it feels very safe, even as night falls. The hotel itself is gorgeous architecturally."

"I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Bellas Artes and highly recommend it! The entire property was spotlessly clean, and our room was comfortable and well-maintained. The staff truly made our experience special—they were incredibly friendly, professional, and always went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. We had such a great time, and we will definitely be coming back the next time we visit Mexico City!"
