However, the first-floor room we stayed in was awful: Windows face the covered patio so no sunlight and no privacy—shades had to stay down, so you're basically staying in a tiny broom closet. AC control panel lights up the room at night. You can hear the subway go by at regular intervals, and we were awoken at 4am by a really loud, jarring jackhammer-type noise. Mentioned this to front desk and in post-stay survey, zero real response other than "so sorry."...

"The hotel wins on Location, Location, Location! Close to Central Park EVERYTHING is within walking distance without the noise and hassle of being in Times Square or in the middle of nowhere where. We spent five nights here and it was perfect for our needs - Broadway is close by and there are plenty of places to eat at all times of day and night and there is even a 24 hour supermarket with fresh fruit and pastries across the road.
