"Front desk staff was great. Shanice, especially.
Everything else left a lot to be desired. The room needed touch ups and at one point the tv didn’t work. Again, the staff was great in fixing it. The telephone had so much static I had to call down 3 times when things were needed.
Housekeeping knocked at 9:37am to clean my room. I was just out of a shower and asked them to come back in 30min. At 3:47 the room still had not been made up.
I called to ask about late checkout. It took 3 calls for...

"L’emplacement est génial très bien situé.
L’extérieur était magnifique.
Cependant,
Les draps étaient tachés.
L’Hôtel vieillissant.
La douche il manquait du savon, il y avait quelques traces noires.
Le personnel était accueillant et aimable ."

"The location was absolutely perfect! We were right in the heart of everything we wanted to do and see. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything was sparkling clean. The pool was beautiful. We appreciated having chairs as part of the package at both the pool and the beach. The rooms were also great. It was so nice to have a separate living space and sleeping space. The fridge was roomy enough that we could get groceries and bring leftovers home. The room also had plenty...

"Well, we had high hopes based on reviews however...other than the amazing location we were left a bit dissatisfied.
The room we had was a deluxe king. Very little storage space. An area rug that looked like it was from 1950 in terms of being clean. The first morning, our coffee cups were left dirty. And the really gross part....hair in our shower.
On the plus...location for sure! The staff were very good at check in an throughout our 3 night stay. The roof top bar was nice."

"We stayed at The Marlin for three nights and came away disappointed. At the hotel we were charged extra fees for things like towels, none of which were shown on Expedia when we booked. Being hit with surprise charges for basics you'd expect to be included isn't a great start to a stay.
On top of that, the TV in our room couldn't connect to the internet and was essentially unusable for all three days. We reported it to the front desk, and staff did try to fix it, but it never worked.
