"The grounds are well maintained and have lots of trees for shade and ambiance.I really enjoyed the lagoon, a large hot tub for guests 21 and older. Very peaceful for relaxing. The pools is also a reason we stay at this property.large and big enough to enjoy while kids are present.The resort is a short drive from Sedona and many trails, we love going for morning walks at the Page Springs Hatchery.Having a full kitchen in the unit means we don’t have to plan to eat out for every meal."

"For the price it is what you pay for. We went with this hotel due to it being on the beach and pet friendly. However walking into the studio we booked, I did feel the need to wipe down tables and lay down disposable sheets (I bring on trips in case). There were stains on the table (kitchen and coffee table) and a cigarette burn on one of the cushions on the single chair, dispute the hotel being smoke-free. We were expecting a balcony, but he just had a big sliding window with no outside access...

"The most serious thing was the back sliding door can not be locked. Major safety issue. Half of the oven was not working. Kitchen Faucet was broken but still working."

"Honestly, pretty great for a budget resort. Beautiful grounds, clean and spacious rooms. The outside activities kept us busy the whole stay, and it was very conveniently located to experience local eats, beach and the parks. Everyone in the staff team was super friendly and quick to help (we only needed help with the WiFi). We would absolutely love to come back here on family vacations!!"

"I really recommend The Whalers, excellent location to move around Maui. The beach is great, shopping and restaurants in the Village, also along the beach to find many choices. 30 min from airport, many excursion for snorekling and sunset cruises Definetly I recommend it 100% !!! Very clean the rooms and good air conditioning ! Nice balcony in the rooms."
