Oleo Cancun Playa All Inclusive Resort

"The rooms were cleaned well. The AC in the room that we put into originally did not work and the ceiling fan did spin very fast at all. A technician came to our room and did something to make the ceiling fan run faster but he did not fix the AC. The windows do not open and we did not have a balcony. The staff told me they were sold out and that I choose the basic economy room. I did not see that when I reserved the room. The photo of the room looked nice. We booked three rooms and my daughters room was real nice. My son's room was nice and had a balcony. My daughter was able to speak with a different front desk manager and they changed us to a nicer room with AC and a view for the last two nights stay of our 7 nights there. The swim up bar was very nice with good bartenders. The main indoor bar staff was a pleasure to hang out with and really took care of patrons. All of the different restaurants staff was very good and helpful with serving us. All said we would recommend Oleo Cancun Playa All Inclusive Resort to our family and friends."

"The hotel was on a nice beach. It could be viewed from the pools as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel was quiet and peaceful. The frozen peach daiquiri was amazing. The bed was very comfortable. Negatives: Room service was frequently difficult. You have to scan a QR code to access the menu. It wasn’t easy to view on a phone. Even though you can only see the menu online, you can’t order online. You have to connect with a main number and then get transferred to room service to order. More than once the order wasn’t correct. For instance they forgot to include the blue cheese dressing with the chicken wings. I wasn’t able to connect with room service afterwords to correct the situation. I ended up eating cold Buffalo wings with nothing to dip them in. Disappointing. I had other problems with room service. Sometimes they didn’t answer the phone. I got cut off a couple of times. Very frustrating. I didn’t like how much they pushed you to book tours etc. I couldn’t walk down the main hallways without someone stopping me to try to sell me a tour or service. The checkout time was at 10 am. That’s at least an hour earlier than other hotels. The check in time was late too."

"Hotel muy completo, la piscina súper grande y con buen horario para estar tiempo allí ideal después de los toures, hay un OXXO súper cerca, unos 3 minutos caminando, para ir a lugares como el mercado 28 o coco bongo al frente del hotel pasan los buses, con un costo mucho más bajo que un uber y muy confiables. El cambiar dólares puede ser un poco costoso ya que el hotel no cuenta con cambios y en lugares alrededor tampoco, si pagas en el OXXO con dólares te devuelven el vuelto en pesos, es una gran opción pero no siempre tienen cambio para billetes tipo de $100. ¡En general muy recomendado el hotel, su piscina y su playa, increíbles!"

"Secrets Mirabel was the best resort we have ever stayed at! The service was amazing, the food was delicious, and the whole property was clean and updated. I tried the spa for a massage and hydrotherapy treatment. The attention to detail and service was phenomenal!! All of our dining options were perfect, buffet has great options, and table service was amazing (had reservations at Blue Water Grill and Teppanyaki experience). I recommend this resort for a relaxing, chill, vacation or honeymoon."

"It was okay, food is good , the place is clean. Staff were great and accommodating. IRD or in room dining is slow. AVA is huge, long and depending on where your room is, you might have to walk a lot to get to your favorite restaurant. The Food District is at the end of the South side. It seems like they’re almost done building another Food District on the North side. Everything is indoors (feels like a mall) with the exception of few food pods outside till 5:00pm. After dark there is nothing happening outdoors. Activities and shows don’t match the resort capacity. Reservations are required for most activities and kids area along with popular restaurants (Livo, BlackIron, Kita & Veranda) Beach is private but like most beaches full of sargassum and not suitable for swimming. Over all was good and might get better in a year or two once they address few issues and finish building other areas. Lastly, their Legendary vacation club make non-members feel uncomfortable and less valued."
