We found the overall service really good, the food and service in the specialty restaurants was extremely good, all the pools and pool entertainment were really nice, the kids club was amazing (much thanks to Geco and all the ladies there), Waldemar at the gym and pool exercises was cool, and the entertainment was excellent for what were looking for. "We value the beach very high for these types of trips and the beach was full of seaweed for most of the trip and the water felt a bit rough (very wavy). Not necessarily the hotels fault and on less windy days, the hotel cleaned the seaweed pretty well. However, I would go to a different area next time in search for calmer and cleaner waters. The hotel was comfortable and clean, but we didn't like the food as much and the quality of the drinks was inconsistent (sometimes good, sometimes bad)....

"We had no hot water in our room for the entire trip. I used the app twice to report this and our case was closed with no resolution. I also reported this to my concierge and also front desk staff. It was never fixed. The nightly entertainment is almost non existent."

"We had to move after 2 nights b/c they were doing construction outside our door. The 1st night in the 2nd place a woman let herself into our room with the key, saying she booked it through airbnb. She’s been given the wrong info. 2 days later we couldn’t use the balcony b/c they were power washing right above it. Our stovetop has electrocuted me multiple times even though I was very careful after the 1st time. Our 5th night the microwave lit on fire. 2 security guys came to to try to find out...

"The room is very nice and spacious, had a great ocean view which was unobstructed. We used all the items in the room and they would clean/replenish daily. We had a little leak in the room and they fixed it the same afternoon that we told them about it. The staff were very attentive and super helpful when asking questions. They gave a lot of recommendations on the drinks/food and local activities. The beach was very clean, nice waves but nothing too dangerous. Pools were beautiful, well kept, and...

"For the most part, everything was OK except for the access to our room. They said there was stairs, but it was actually a very narrow spiral staircase, which was very awkward for suitcases. The mattresses was absolutely horrible and uncomfortable!!!"
