We stayed at the Emporio Cancun Feb 4-11, 2026, & had a great time.
Staff - Everyone we met was friendly & helpful. They all spoke enough English to make up for our very weak Spanish.
Food - We really liked the buffets, especially breakfast & dinner. Lots of selection, and we liked almost everything we tried.
À la carte restaurants - Really liked Fasano (Argentinan food). The Italian restaurant, Bocali, was not good at all though. The staff were nice but the food was terrible.
Room - Had everything we needed. Had an issue w one bed not being clean when we arrived & the mini fridge didn’t work (we asked for it to be fixed/replaced, but it never was).
We also didn’t know we were supposed to have bottled water in the room until after our first stay over service & by then we’d already bought a $10 USD bottle of water from the over-priced store in the resort (ouch!). If you don’t have water in your room when you arrive, make sure to request it & save yourself some money.
Pools - Nice but pretty cold while we were there (sounds normal based on the time of our visit). The ocean was actually warmer so that’s where we did all our swimming. It was nice to hang out around the pools though & it allowed for great service from the staff. We really enjoyed renting the cabanas.
Make sure to get all-inclusive though. Even w/out alcohol, the buffets cost too much to be able to save money by not getting all-inclusive.
Overall, we liked our stay and would stay here again.
