"We stayed at Moon Palace in Cancun and attended a presentation at Moon Palace Grand. Overall, the experience was quite disappointing. The rooms at Moon Palace were not great—they felt outdated and not as clean or well-maintained as we expected for a resort at this price point. The resort also felt extremely crowded the entire time. There were too many people everywhere, especially in common areas like the arcade, which made it hard to enjoy. Even basic things like meals became frustrating, with long lines for lunch and dinner buffets almost every day. As vegetarians, we also struggled with food options. There were very limited choices available, and it became repetitive and difficult to find satisfying meals throughout the stay. Our biggest concern, however, was the experience at Moon Palace Grand during the presentation. The staff there came across as unhelpful and at times rude, which left a very negative impression. A simple issue like missing shower gel in the room turned into a hassle—we had to call multiple times, and it still took a long time to be delivered. Overall, the experience did not live up to the expectations or the cost. Between the crowded environment, limited food options, poor room quality, and service issues at Moon Palace Grand, it wasn’t the relaxing vacation we were hoping for. "

"Basic, clean hotel within short walking distance to Terminal 2/3. Other terminals - urge you to pay $25 for a cab there, and only take return shuttle if you have no time constraint. Food options are actually quite good. Nowhere to walk or kill time, only good for in/out as needed."

"Beautiful resort with amazing staff, from Lucy on the concierge desk to bartenders Diana and Emmanuel, and to all the entertainment staff from mar though everybody, there is always something going on. Food was very good as well"

"Our trip started out very good food and drinks were very good. Restaurants had awesome service and food with lots of variety. Pools and the beaches were exceptional. The sargassum wasn’t to bad the crews did there best to clean it up. The last couple days of our trip weren’t that great as our year and a half old daughter got very sick. The staff and the doctor on site were very helpful in the end she had to go to the hospital for treatment. The staff were amazing people who had helped us with getting to the hospital asap. Also with other things like making sure we had everything we needed. I should mention we have 2 other daughters who are older I stayed with them at resort while my wife went to the hospital with our youngest who was sick. The person that helped us a lot was Armando Martinez at guest services. He was super helpful, knowledgeable, and would do anything he could to help us and make us feel comfortable at a stressful time. There was another gentleman from guest services who had helped also I cannot remember his name but he also did an amazing job. We ended up staying an extra 2 days due to our baby girl couldn’t fly due to her sickness. They allowed us to stay in the same room which was great. The staff made us feel like they really cared for us which was really nice as it was a difficult time. Also want to mention that the doctor ran to our room as we called front desk that we needed him to come asap. Great people who work here!!"
