"Place is gigantic. Not big, gigantic. Property is well maintained. Waterpark, pools, bowling alley, and mini golf all a hit with the kids. The food for being an inclusive was pretty good. Only bad meal was the grand buffet for dinner. However, their breakfast is excellent. Beach is terrible. It’s so bad you don’t even want to go on at all. The choices for their breakfast is also mediocre.. fresh fruits, yogurts should be stored/displayed with ice underneath. Some food handling concerns right there. When we arrived it took us banging at the wooden gate and calling the hotel 3 times before some came opened the gate so our cab driver could drop us off. There were multiple times when I was walking back to my room and saw room service plates sitting in front of rooms overnight—or even for two days—which took away from the overall experience. I had two rooms booked, and one of them appeared to have just come off maintenance without proper cleaning. "All of the things that made this place special 7 years ago on our honeymoon (now under new ownership) are still present today. This is our favorite boutique, intimate resort in the area. The hospitality is unmatched anywhere else. The rooms are spacious and the remodeled bathrooms were a big plus. There are excellent food options for all 3 meals and no reservations are required.
