"Very nice just a bit hot!"

"Very basic but even for the price the rooms were dusty. Cobwebs hanging off the walls. We had two nights due to a local wedding. Asked to move rooms because the mattress was terrible. Was told all the mattresses are the same and getting upgraded in the winter. Changed rooms, slightly better mattress. Even for a cheap night I'd expect no cobwebs / dust and a decent mattress. Won't go again."

"Lovely stay at the Cedar Court. I’ve been quite a few times before but not since it’s had a bit of a refresh. They’ve done a really good job with it and the rooms now feel much more modern. It would have been nice to a few little extras in the room such as a vanity kit etc. that said the shower products are now the White Company which I love, sadly the shower gel was empty in our room and I didn’t realise until I was in the shower. The bed was very comfortable and the curtains keep out the light...

"I did not like the fact that while I did not book with free breakfast, I was still charged for my coffees in the restaurant. You would think someone staying in one of the Penthouse suites would at least get free coffee in the restaurant."

"Rooms were clean, quiet and had everything you needed. This hotel is room only. You have a key for the front door to come in and out and key for your room. There is a number to contact the owners but only saw them when checking in. Rooms provide tea/coffee and bottled water. It’s a no nonsense hotel which has everything you need in your room for your stay."

"I’ve stayed here before purely because they still have baths, and even then I had to overlook the tired décor, worn‑out furnishings, lack of modern comforts, uncomfortable beds, no air con, single glazing, barely any plug sockets and the £15 daily parking fee. But this stay was somehow worse. Their so‑called “comfort” rooms are actually the lowest budget rooms, ranked below standard, proving they don’t understand the meaning of comfort at all. They even denied using the term despite happily...

"The bed was quite comfortable and the duvet cover very soft. I didn't expect much as it was on the cheaper side but was positively surprised. I also like how chilled they are about check in and check out. Overall I can recommend"

"The Camberley is a hidden jewel in Harrogate I usually stay with a friend’s B&B but sadly it was booked for the week I wanted to be there. I took a chance on the Camberley and was very happily surprised. Kimberly was very lovely to deal with and she was very responsive throughout my day. The location is fantastic as it in near restaurants, pubs and transportation. I would recommend this B&B to anyone, check it out yourself."

Check in was easy, with info forwarded the morning of, so we could just get in, get the keys, and be on with our day. The proprietor let us check out later for a good price as my partner was unwell and needed extra time to recover. We appreciate the exceptional hospitality."
