I am frustrated about the shady advertising practices about hotel listings and the correct city they are in. Recent trip booked I THOUGHT WAS FOR HYATT ZIVA IN CANCUN was really for Hyatt ZIVA RIVERA “Cancun” which should say PUERTO MORALES! other families I talked to there had same issues of wrong hotel and taxi and our airport shuttle service said it’s a very common problem that should be fixed so all parties can be sent to correct location! I will be putting 1 star for everything. I’ll

It was smaller. it didnt take a half hour to get to the pool. I like that! Not many food options. the Mexican cuisine wasnt Mexican. It catered to those who dont want that authentic flavor. almost all of the food was alright. that's what i didnt like. also didnt like the noisein the middle of the night. dont know why people were working when it was late. they need to have rubber wheels on their carts. random banging in the middle of the night. also there is literally no beach and cabana rentals promise one thing but just give you the cabana. like where were my cucumbers for my eyes. I could get a drink faster by going to the bar. Nice calm resort though. It wasnt packed and you could walk in and get food anywhere without a wait.

The place itself is wonderful the smell once you arrived the people are approachable and friendly. The food are great and entertainement are great everything is excellent. Definitely would love to come back with my family and kids

When we arrived we were greeted to go on a “tour” of another property. (Timeshare) Finally able to enjoy the resort we try the restaurants and we’re welcomed with cold food. Everything was cold even the soup, scrimp fajitas. The sports bar has a sign that children shouldn’t be playing billiards, but there was an employee playing with his 3 year old and his wife, they played until it was time to close. Told us we couldn’t play because they were closing. Visited the shopping stores and Moses the clerk for the jewelry store was rude to me. I asked about an item, he looks at me then looks away. He hovered over a white couple looking at glasses. I waited patiently; he ignores me until my husband comes in and ask about the same item. Then Moses comes over and speaks in Spanish to my husband and continues to ignore me. My husband begins to explain what was said and Moses cuts him off to explain what he could have said in the beginning, as he spoke to the white people in English. He claimed we didn’t have an account to charge our purchase to our room. Told us to leave to ask the front desk to make an account. I knew we had an account we already been charging items to the room. I was annoyed so we left and Moses returned to the white couple. We are an interracial couple. There were some helpful and great people as well which I wish they could multiply! Manuel was friendly and prompt making our spa reservations. Pablo was the friendly informative and resourceful at the front desk

Our stay for a week was wonderful. The rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurants have great options. The service was impeccable across the property, except in the Mexican restaurant where service was very slow. Outside of that everything else was great. My only drawback was the beach as it is small and the waters are not what you expect in Cancun. Brown due to the reef. So if you come for the beach this is not a great place for you.
