"There was no breakfast available but there are plenty of options for breakfast within walking distance. The bed was comfortable and the ensuite was roomy. There was no internet access in our bedroom. Parking is allocated to your bedroom number and is available from book in until about 1.30pm to 2pm on the booking out day. This was ideal for us as we were able to get a last hike in before leaving."

"Our stay was very comfortable and it was a great location for our stopover between Scotland and Devon. The host was very efficient, friendly and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the en suite bathroom which had a sensor light. This made any night time toilet trips impossible to make without waking someone up with the light and extractor fan. The shower pressure was very weak & the sink was tiny. "We stayed for 2 nights in a family room, our room was small for 4 people but had everything we needed. The sofa bed wasnt the best, however we asked for a 2nd duvet to put ontop of the mattress and they were bmvery obliging and helpful. The staff are very courteous and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean. The kids loved the sweets left for them. The filter coffee in the room was a really nice touch. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rope Makers Croft. The croft is a short walk from Litton, where you'll find an excellent community-run shop and the superb Red Lion. The croft itself was perfect for us - there was plenty of space for two whilst still being cosy and warm (it was a chilly weekend!). The kitchen area is well equipped, the living area was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for the rainforest shower. All in all superb. We are already looking at making a return...
