"Great location but that’s about it. Dirty towels, extremely small room, sink backed up, one roll of toilet paper, AC not working. Wouldn’t recommend staying. Ended up booking a new property the same day we arrived and eating the cost of both hotels to get out of there."

"Absolutely fantastic location. We went gif a wedding but if you were going to do tourist things perfect location for Big Ben, London eye etc Staff were very attentive and polite and welcoming. The room was amazing. We were upgraded (to our suprise as we didn’t ask) and didn’t expect it so thank!!"

"Booked a last minute stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. No provisions or offers given to celebrate our special day, not even a 'happy anniversary' comment! Room was not clean...hair in shower area and plughole, dust on table/TV. Breakfast was a smaller selection than expected. Omlettes, eggs Benedict, etc. are normaally available in buffet breakfast but these were chargeable extras! Fried eggs in the buffet were cold. Tables were not cleared of dishes quickly which meant we had to move our used dushes to a neighbouring table. A very disappointing breakfast experience, which was charged on top of our booking....totally unacceptable. Spa area was also extremely disappointing. Only when we enquired about timing for the spa were we informed of the refurbishment taking place. Only the pool was available on a booking system. No jacuzzi, steam room or sauna. I've never been to a hotel where they book you in advance to use the pool and only for approx. 30mins use! When in the pool one wall was covered in tarpaulin for work on the other side....noisey and dusty works going on. Corners of the tarpaulin were torn to show large holes which allowed a lot of cold air towards the pool. There were no treatments available until after check out time! The only positive was the car park and the excellent service from Tino and tge team. Car park area is small but well managed. Location was good but this was an overall very disappointing experience. "Hotel is unassuming and blends into the street almost unnoticeable. Old building, cute and clean room. Daily room cleaning if you want it, if not they offer a free drink at the bar for declining. Bar is open 24h a day. Breakfast offered at additional cost but didn’t look appealing. There are street vendors and restaurants in the area that had better options. Close to shops and transportation options. Right around the block from the train (I took the train from the airport for £15). Very convenient and beautiful part of the city. Easy to navigate around. The hotel doesn’t have much to offer itself, no gym, no laundry, no computers (although they have wifi and printing capability), but the room is comfortable and the location is right. Just be prepared to drag your bags along the cobblestones/brick roads "

"The sink of our bathroom did not work. I was wondering how the staff did not notice this when they clean the bath. Or did they clean the bathroom at all?"

"Everyone was so polite and helpful. Everything was great . Breakfast was delicious. The only problem was getting the washer/dryer combo to work."
