"It’s terrible experience! Everything is unsatisfactory. In case you lose your room key. They charge you 3,000 Yan just for the card! I have been many hotels all over the world, no hotel charges guests the room card! It’s unbelievable, unfair!"

"The hotel felt big and fancy, but we booked it in part for the pool, which is extra and not always open. There is not much near the hotel, especially considering heat of summer. in the hotel feels a bit too many frills for extra cost vs value. Very expensive restaurants. No AC in hallways & lobby felt hot too. The location while convenient to Kyoto train station is not convenient to much else. So factor in transportation. The staff were friendly. Many outside the front desk don’t speak English...

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the complimentary beverages offered daily from 3:00 pm were a lovely bonus.
