"Clean room, close to amenities. Room downstairs to relax with coffee and water. Game in this area was noisy when used and disturbed the ambiance of the room. Only downside was wash/dry machine stinks- clothes never dried, barrel of machine full of water. Laundry nearby was used."

"The hotel was very convenient to the Kyoto train station . There were also a variety of places to eat and shop within a block of the hotel. The Hotel staff were very helpful although the language barrier made communication difficult at times. The room was very small but very clean. There was only a small closet and no drawers for clothes."

"Very close to Kyoto station. Loved the entrance. Hotel staff was very accommodating.
As with the other hotel we stayed at in Tokyo space is an issue. Traveling with several pieces of luggage it is a real challenge. Add in umbrellas to dry out. We managed but stubbed our toes a few times. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was excellent."

"We absolutely loved our week long stay at the oriental hotel Kyoto ! The room was spacious and clean. The only thing we didn’t like in the room were the dirty walls and carpet. Those definitely need to be touched up.
The bike rental was fantastic! We got to see so much more than if we were on foot! They have refreshments after 2:30pm to enjoy, which is nice.
They have laundry machines on site. The dryer in the machine doesn’t really work so we ended up hang drying our clothes.

"Loved the location and the size of the room was bigger than typical Japanese rooms. This was in Kyoto, but in Tokyo rooms were very small compared to this. I’d recommend Dash hotel to anyone traveling to see Kyoto Japan. Made our experience a whole lot better and first timers in Japan!"
