"Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. This was a great place for us to spend our 5 nights in Kyoto as it was close/walking distance from Kyoto station and had more than enough space for our family of four. We were looking for something that had ensuite laundry and a kitchenette so we could prepare our own meals, and this location had both. To make it more convenient, it would have been nice if they had a few more items in the suite like a iron/ironing board, which is usually in hotel...

"The location was good enough and convenient for getting around. The room was more spacious than most hotel rooms in Japan, which we really appreciated. Having a washing machine inside the room was also a great feature. Since we usually ate out, this was not an issue for us, but guests planning a longer stay and intending to cook may find the kitchen equipment quite limited. "Property and room was very clean. Property convenient to market, convenience stores and a metro station. Only complaint is our toilet started leaking the second day and could not be fixed until the next week. We were only there for three nights. We had two options: 1) continue to use the room and use the toilet in another room 2) split us up into two rooms. It was my wife and son. We opted for the two rooms which were significantly smaller. I initially reserved a big room that had two bedrooms....

"This is a beautiful home with gorgeous Japanese decor. It has 6 beds in 3 rooms allowing for ample privacy. There is a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine with an area to hang clothes outside to dry and two separate bathrooms. There is also a nice bamboo forest just down the street!"
