"My stay at the Double Tree was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is very close to the train station (and a Shinkansen no less!) and a 7/11, which is great for getting cash on the go. From the moment we walked in we were impressed. The hotel lobby smelled amazing and had a relaxing atmosphere. "The hotel is across the road from Kyoto station and in an area with great transportation and food options, as well as close to meeting points for tours. The room was always clean and came with abundant toiletries. The stadd was helpful and plesant and checkin was a breeze. As many japanese hotels, the basic room is tiny and can just accommodate 2 adylts living out if suitcases. I e joyed my stay there."
