"Breakfast was good. The restaurant were very expensive. The downside there's no pool or sun loungers to enjoy the sun when it came out. It rained heavily everyday. June or July not a good time to visit. Nothing to do at the hotel. We went out every day in the rain too. Visited the Imperial palace and Samurai Museum. Trains were cheap and easy to use. Eating out was cheaper too be careful of Tsujiya groove cafe they charge 400 yen each just to sit in there. Food wasn't good just across the road...

"Great hotel opposite Kyoto Station so very handy. Room was spacious which is unusual in Japan. Had a laundry room which was only ¥600 to use although we had to hang up clothes in room as it didn't dry them completely. Loads of good restaurants nearby in station (who would have thought) as well as combinis. Several shopping malls close by as well. Overall a good hotel and one I'd stay at again."

"The location was terrific even though I got lost in the station. It’s on the other side from the tower side. The room was spacious enough and the robes for lounging were fantastic! I would definitely stay there again. Convenient shops outside that sell food, a small Uniqlo and other handy shops. There are laundry facilities but I found a laundromat just down the street. It’s a good hotel just not the ritz."

"The room was really clean, Wi-Fi was great. Having the Family Mart Next door was amazing. The AC was the only downside because it didn’t get very cool in the room. But the rest of the stuff still made the stay amazing"

"This hotel is in a very good location, just across from Kyoto Station, which has many restaurants and shops. It's also next to a shopping mall and only about a 5-minute walk to Aeon Mall. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby and reception area looked fancy and even had a tea room. When we arrived early, they stored our luggage for free, so we could explore the city before checking in. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choices including Western and...

"Traveling with my kids and our stay was great. Like the location of this hotel, it’s just 7 minutes away from the Kyoto Station. The breakfast buffet is very nice. They also have complementary afternoon tea and snack. My kids also enjoyed the free craft event. I would like to stay at this hotel again."
