"Beautiful secluded property with true luxury onsen experience. Staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful. They accommodated our large family of 11, including a few different food allergies very well. The teenagers loved the private and public hot baths. Thenonly downside was a strong mildew smell in the otherwise immaculate room. Overall, I highly recommend this resort for an authentic and high end onsen experience."

20. Rakuten STAY VILLA Hakone Gora

Gora, 5.3 km from Tamadare Falls

"The Villa was new and up scale and roomy. It was super clean and great instruction on how to deal with the needs for our 2 days stay. The bedrooms was good size with comfortable Queens size bed and not those twin size. The beds were great and firm enough you know they weren't cheap material. The amenities were great with the sauna room was clean and equipped with sauna towel along with the private hot tub in the unit and no need to share. The balcony was great for BBQ with family and friends....

Top Tamadare Falls Hotel Reviews

Hakone Airu

10/10 Excellent

"A great stay and definitely a highlight of our trip. The food was good but nothing to die for. The highlight was definitely the time away in the private onsen which is bigger than shown. We're 2 people and we fit comfortably."

Hotel Kajikaso

10/10 Excellent

"Staff was friendly, location was great. It is an older building, so the rooms can reflect that. We had a beautiful view of the river."

Hakone Pax Yoshino

10/10 Excellent

"Very nice hotel and onsen"

Tsukino Yado Sara

8/10 Good

"A great place to stay. Staff were very helpful. Clean facilities. Spacious hollywood twin room with balcony view over river. Only negative is the private balcony onsen was hot water, not spring water. But there are 2 privare onsens available ( no reservation, up to 40 min) and they were good. Free drinks on 3rd floor were a nice surprise as well as toof top garden. Breakfast was excellent."

Yaeikan

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed in a room with a private Onsen, and opted to have the meals brought to our room (specifically the wagyu option). Our onsen was so nice, that we decided to not bother with the public and reservable ones. I had three baths in a day! The food was exceptional and whilst very different to the British palette, it was all well explained, presented and of course was delicious. The staff were wonderful and attentive, responding to requests and questions quickly and clearly. I was very pleased to see that Yaiken was busy throughout our stay, and I hope it remains so. One small piece of feedback as picked up by others is that some of the furnishings are a bit tired and perhaps need a spruce up - marks on the walls etc. but genuinely nothing that would stop me going again or recommending to anyone. Thank you!"

Yushintei

10/10 Excellent

"The staff here were so friendly and helpful. They really made you feel welcomed and helped you settle in. The property is beautiful, a classic traditional Japanese style ryokan and they provide slippers and robes as well. It was a very enjoyable stay for us. Even given the 15-20minute walk from the train station, you’re surrounded by beautiful nature and architecture, so it doesn’t feel very far at all. Our room had a private onsen which was fantastic, definitely a highlight! We recommend Yushintei and would absolutely come back."

Hakonenomori Okada

8/10 Good

"チェックイン当日に予約しました。シルバーウィークの最後の日です。清掃は行き届いていたし、設備こそ最新ではないけれど、職員は夜勤、朝食のレストランにかかわらず親切でしたし、温泉と朝食はこの値段で充分納得の行く内容かと思います。機会があれば、また利用したいです。"

Hotel Senkei

10/10 Excellent

"The room was clean, extremely spacious. Hotel itself is a traditional Japanese style and has an Onsen for guests. Location is very central and about 10 minutes walk from the train station. Staff at the reception couldn't be more helpful and nicer. 10/10 overall."

Yusakaso

10/10 Excellent

"Very nice place to experience Japanese traditional culture. Nice staff are always willing to help in every way. Will stay again. Thanks"
