"I was on the first floor, so the ocean was certainly not in view, and there were multiple houses in front of this house-like hotel so I doubt there was much of a view on the second floor. The water is very hot. The floors were heated even the toilet seat was heated. The whole experience was very luxurious and clean. "Quaint nastalgic cabin with bedrooms for two couples. Small kitchen with gas stove. Small living area with electric fireplace. Not a wood stove as pictured. Jack and Jill full bath with shower newly remodeled between bedrooms. 1/2bath in 2nd bedroom. The only hanging closet was in 2nd bedroom. No dresser in second bedroom. Main bedroom with king bed has a very small narrow dresser. No closet.The staff at the front desk was helpful when they were there. Lovely double Dutch front door. Great...

"Loved the location, the privacy, the quiet courtyard. Room was perfect for 2 with one dog. Bed and pillows were comfy. Easy walking distance to pet friendly breakfast, lunch, and dinner places, plus all of downtown. The beach (off leash) was a bit further, easy to get to, but a bit of a walk back up."

"The property is really cute and the location is excellent! It is within walking distance of Ocean Avenue where there’s lots of shopping and a variety of restaurants. Be aware it is an old inn so it does not have air conditioning and the wall heater in the bedroom will not heat the bathroom. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "

"We called ahead to avoid being put in a room we had stayed in before, where staff constantly walk past the window at the exact height of the bed. There are no top-down curtains, so this feels very intrusive. Guess what room we got? Yep. The same one. We have stayed here 3 times, and 2 of those have been terrible. Great location, but very poor layout, and the staff seems frustrated with their jobs, so not responsive to guests. "
