"A really lovely couple of nights at Holly Lodge.
The hospitality shown from Kirsty and Barbara was 1st class and couldn’t have wished for a more welcoming and homely stay.
The lounge is a beautiful and relaxing area to sit and have a drink and take in the wonderful Xmas tree .
Really enjoyed the couple of visits to the health club using both the gym and the Spa which was a wonderful perk.
You really can’t beat the location of Holly Lodge, literally a 90 second walk cutting through the...

"This was our 3rd stay at St John's Lodge and yet again it did not disappoint.
Great location, great room (which was upgraded when we arrived, a welcome surprise), great breakfast and amazing service from the Hosts Rich & Ada. Having free access to the Local health club and spa is another fantastic bonus, popping in after a hike to utilise the jacuzzi is great!
We couldn't ask for more from St John's Lodge, Rich and Ada are excellent hosts and couldn't do more for us. We hope to return again...

"Recommend!
Lovely house in a great location in Windermere. Inside feels modern yet classic featuring all the mod cons (except dishwasher). Everything works and is to a high standard. The owners or manager’s left a nice welcome present and folder with print out of all the features, amenities and processes to follow for our stay which we thought was a good touch. Had a great time and recommend.
Not a negative more an FYI, master bed is a bit small if you’re a big person and no dishwasher.
