"The Ava Resort hotel is very nice - it is very upgraded and new. I have no complaints about the property itself. My only complaint is the service and food was sub-par. The service was below what I would expect in a resort of this level - staff were not friendly and food took forever to arrive. The food and service in Veranda restaurant in particular was horrible. I wouldn't recommend going there but the teppanyaki was great. Pool area is beautiful and rooms are nice. Just depends what is important to you at an all inclusive."

"The pool was a lot of fun, lots of fun games. The Faye was delicious a big variety of really good foods. But the most amazing was the staff, especially the manager Maria, Octavio, they went over and above to help my husband, and I when we had a terrible accident in front of the hotel I cannot tell you how kind, compassionate, and professional they were and helping me to get my husband to the emergency room."

"Clean room, daily cleaning. Staffs were all polite and helpful. Outdoor pools were really nice and the warm were always warm. Nice variety of food to pick from. Very close to the shopping mall, about a 5 min walk. Next door are convenient stores 7 11 and circle k. Transfer to and from the airport was a smooth transition. We’ll definitely be booking again. "
