"I would have rated our stay a 5 except for one issue that was not resolved to our satisfaction. The washer did not drain properly and the staff took our clothing to rewash and dry them while the machine was repaired. No one ever came to repair the machine and when my clothes were returned, they were stuffed in a laundry bag and did not appear clean. This hotel has many levels and stairs are unavoidable. "The location was great, easily access to everything. We quickly found a short cut through the mall to princess street. The apartment was also nice and quiet. It was mostly clean but there was some grit or dirt on the floor as I could hear it rubbing on my case. We expected a sofa as the pictures on the website had a picture of the executive suite with a sofa but apparently that’s only for those with a balcony! "Very roomy"

"Beautiful hotel with small but perfectly formed rooms. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the castle which was tiny but lovely. The bar area is fantastic and the Whisky Bar was our downfall (thanks to Dario who is an expert!) Will definitely return"
