"Overall we had a great stay. Since the ratings were so high when we booked, we were a bit disappointed that it did not seem to match the star's rating as presented however, it did not effect our trip. The location is central so awesome for exploring the old quarters. The front staff were attentive and always happy to help. Be careful when showering as water did start to leak out of the bathroom. I wouldn't shower on full blast and also point the water away from the shower door. I also found...

"We had a wonderful stay. Delicious breakfast made to order: waffles, pho, banh mi, and many more choices. Hotel staff are warm, welcoming and made our stay memorable, happy, and safe. Our bellhop, Vipor, went above and beyond jumping on his motorcycle to bring my purse for repair. We were even escorted across the street to our tour bus. We will definitely come back and stay at Hotel Du Lac."

"I was skeptical of the location when coming from the airport. But it is walking distance from the Old Quarter, St Joseph’s and train street. The hotel was incredible. Luxurious on a smaller scale. Staff was incredibly friendly. The place was clean and the breakfast buffet was very good. All around an amazing place. Louisa was extremely hospitable and welcoming! "

"Breakfast was delicious, not enough veggies or vegan options (fresh fruit is abundant) but they do make fresh omelettes on the spot for omnivores and vegetarians. My tastes are specific but that is not a knock on them. They have great service staff, the spa services are very reasonable, there are a lot food options right on the street. "

"Frankly speaking this is a budget friendly hotel. Central to city so great for solo travelers on a budget. If you plan on spending any time in the room they are quite cramp. I was with one friend and it was too much. Staff are amazing and helpful but if you can splurge a bit I would. "

"Breakfast is good, plenty of fresh fruit, freshly cooked eggs to order. The reception staff are incredibly helpful, Da in particular who goes out of his way to help and advise. Only downside is the early morning noise from the bells of the cathedral if you’re in an upper floor room at the back of the hotel. "

"I would highly recommend staying here. The property is well maintained and the rooms are spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Nice buffet breakfast and an amazing roof top bar. Furthermore, the hotel is centrally located in Hanoi, walking distance to the lake, near most tourist sites, and in the heart of the shopping and eating spots. Totally enjoyed my stay. I would definitely stay here again. "

"賑やかな通りにありますが、夜は騒音はなく、良く眠れました。サービスも良く、空港の往復送迎とマッサージを依頼しました。 何よりも、朝食が美味しかったです。街中のレストランで朝食は食べる予定でしたが、果物や卵料理なども充実していたので、毎日料理しました。 一点残念だったのは、窓がない部屋だったことです。同じフロアの別の部屋には窓があったようです。次回、窓のある部屋に泊まれるのであれば、ぜひまた利用したいです。"
