Great hotel! Service was good. Pools are relaxing. Good option during seaweed season. It has much less than other areas. Book your restaurant reservations for dinner as buffet is average but not great. It is secluded but uber is an option.

My boyfriend and I decided to stay at this resort for our first vacation and it did not disappoint. The food was incredible and the service was outstanding. We particularly appreciated the water purification as we did not hesitate to drink the water or brush our teeth. The staff was extremely helpful and nobody was pushy. The online booking for a restaurants can be a little tricky, but we were able to find a table last minute at most places.

The rooms were really clean no complaints very hardworking staff. However, some nights we never received our room service we had to call or go to the lobby and it would take 2 hours. Our friends also got their airpods stolen by their housekeeper, like I said no complaints for my room but unfortunately be careful. All food was good but Italian gave me a stomach ache

Pros- staff was nice, pool was nice but hot, place was clean, checkin and checkout was fast. Room service was fast to order food but not very good. Beach was close and a lot cleaner than other beaches closer to Cancun. Cons- mostly only ate at the buffet because all the reservations were gone for the day early. Food quality was not good at the buffet. The pool snack bar constantly ran out of pizza, no nutella for the crepes… several times ice ran out at the bar. Pool bar closed at 6pm.. restrooms weren’t close to the pool. rooms were hot because ac would turn off when not in the room. Adelitas food was good but super small portions, so had to order alot. Only got bacon 1 morning at the buffet cause they ran out.

Small quiet resort (pool area is loud but beach is quiet, not a lot of entertainment but I don't care about that as I'm there to relax and recharge), very clean, great service. Food is average, drinks are good. Love the beach bar. Plenty of shade at the beach but need to go reserve chairs early. That part is a bummer and shouldn't be allowed. This was our second stay and I would go again because overall it's a great value.

I've been going to costa mujeres for the last 3 years at different resorts. This was the first one we came to. We have been this two other resorts that have a more known name. However neither one of those top Catalonia. Catalonia was and is our favorite. The food is unmatched with the variety they offer whether in restaurants or the trucks and grab and go by the pool. The Mexican restaurant was our favorite. Jasiel was our server at the Mexican restaurant and he was so amazing and left a mark on us that we still remember him 3 years later and wanted to go visit him from the other resorts. The pools were amazing. The swim up suites were great. The servers all around the pool were phenomenal and so efficient. We definitely will be coming back and can't wait.
