First- money went missing which was in the safe. We left for the day and upon returning, money was missing from the safe. Turns out the safe was not functioning properly. I put in a random code and it opened. Great!!!
Food is good if you like and enjoy Mexican cuisine. The buffet is Mexican food so if you don’t like this, you won’t be happy with the buffet food options. The Italian restaurant is good. The pizza and snack bar also good.
Drinks were odd depending which bar they were made. I found the bar by the pizza place to be the best for drinks.
Great ocean view like any other resort. There are far more palm trees than I have seen at other resorts which was nice. Many cabanas on the beach. Never had a day without one.
Staff are very friendly. Some staff better than others in the buffet restaurant but that’s not unusual as compared to other places.
Room was clean. Had to ask for coffee as there wasn’t any left and it didn’t get restocked.
Location is great, walking distance to la isla shopping if that’s your scene- it’s not mine. I much prefer the old la isla before it became what it is now. Easy to take the city bus out to other areas and to downtown Cancun.
