Hotel is good for what we did, spending the night only. As we were out in excursions all day. Comfortable bed, very clean!!!

Good hotel near the golf course

We stayed at this hotel on the day before flying out from the airport. The hotel has a great pool and comfy beds.

The hotel was dingy and old. Rooms were modest decor and decent size. The bed was uncomfortable. Also the hotel location was tucked away on a back street off the main strip.

A dirty, old hotel far from anything.

I expected a better hotel but it was truly disappointing. When we arrived the lobby was full of people waiting to leave. They assign us a room next to all the noise of the lobby, we asked to have a room where there was quiet and they give us one. Nor the staff or bell-boy offer to help us with our luggage to our room. The condition of the room and hotel was old and neglected. There were dirty stains on the floor towels, the doors, the floor of the hallways, and the missing tiles in the pool. They did clean the hotel and the rooms, but if you went out early you could see garbage on the floor around the hotel. The TV had only a few channels and the bed moved away from the headboard when you tried to sit on the bed to watch TV. The breakfast was ok and it had variety it was about the only good thing. There was no restaurant service in the hotel and you either ordered in or had to walk the long road to catch a bus or taxi to go and eat. There was construction going on and houses all around. There were only two convince stores near by. Thankfully, we were there only three nights. I would not give this hotel the 21/2 stars it has. We were stuck in this hotel because the reservation was not exchangeable or could not be canceled. I will never again reserve with out being able to change my reservation. The error is on me .

Well Worth the Stay

When we arrived I found the staff to be very nice and helpful. The room was inviting with cold air already filling the room. The pool looked very inviting. Plenty of towels and other essentials. Breakfast was served daily starting at 6:30am. Fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, a meat, cheese, cereal, juice and coffee. The breakfast staff was wonderful, making us feel welcome and like a part of the family every morning. The staff was very helpful throughout my entire stay of 8 days. Flat screen tv in the room with about 14 different channels... something for everyone. I would highly recommend this hotel and plan on staying there again when I go back to Cancun for my honeymoon.

nice hotel with lovely environment

This hotel is great with a competitive price at hotel zone. The room is comfortable, the environment and swimming pool in the hotel is great ! Besides, there were various types of food for the breakfast buffet. The only weak point is that the hotel is not so near the public transportation but for us it is ok. Just a little walk and we could enjoy the scenery around. All in all, we recommend this hotel.

Good for the price

Good for the price. If you are planning to do lot of outside activities and spend very little time indoors then this is the right hotel for you. We used it only for showering and sleeping. Spent lot of our time outside of the hotel

Better than expected, awesome!

Awesome! So quiet, close to the fun area, close to the beaches, close to downtown. Front desk guys were so helpful and friendly, breakfast so nice, everything was clean and perfect... better than my expectations!

I stayed at this hotel for a week while getting dental procedures done in Cancun. The hotel was simple, but very nice, and it attracted people and families of all ages and nationalities. My room overlooked the pool, and it was so nice to sit outside on the small balcony. The pool was nice too, and just big enough to do some laps. One of the best parts of the hotel was the breakfast, which looked forward to it every morning. The staff were all very polite and helpful anytime I had a question. Some people might think this hotel is too far away from the beach and shops and restaurants, but I welcomed the quiet area, and the twenty-minute walk. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend, and if and when I return I will stay here again.

El hotel esta bien para el precio, obviamente no es un 5 estrellas. No esta cerca de la playa, yo rente auto por lo que no era problema. La otra opción es tomar autobus que tienen muy buen servicio pero hay que caminar unos 400m para llegar a la parada. El sanitario presentaba problemas y el desayuno tiene poca variedad. En general si la persona esta clara en que es lo que debe esperar y quiere ahorrar algo de dinero es una buena opción.

Hotel is simple, but still ok. AC smelled a bit fishy sometimes. the rest was pretty good. There is a Supermarket "Delicattesen" 1,5 minutes away, very local place, awsome food!

Never disappointed with Holiday Inn!

Very clean, quiet, nice pool area and complimentary breakfast was great! Friendly staff in the breakfast area too. Was also nice to have safety box to lock up valuables.
