"Everyone was very friendly, the hotel was spotless. Beds are far from comfortable, pillows are flat as paper. Food was great. Bring your own mattress pad for comfort. 8 days and almost 0 sleep. "

"Debated giving 4 stars but decided to round up to 5. Aside from the room itself being cramped and expensive for the size due to being located at the airport, the CitizenM has other good things going for it that more than make up for the downsides: good food at the restaurant and not too expensive, very friendly and helpful staff, and a nice main floor to relax on all help keep that rating boosted. "Being the old shipping house, this hotel has an usual layout. Very nice restaurant and bar (food was very good) and the staff were all wonderful. Wendy and Vasiliki at the front desk and Dale and Bowie at the bar, who managed things very well when it was super busy. A few of the canal from my room was a bonus and it's a very short walk to central station."

"3rd time staying here, perfect location close to the metro and easy to get into Centraal. Rooms are perfect however my only complaint this time is that the cleaning of the room when we arrived wasn’t great. There were loads of eyelash extensions on the floor by the bin and table as well as a lot of dust/crumbs which was slightly disappointing but didn’t affect my stay at all or my opinion of the hotel. It’s 10/10 every time but the cleaning did let them down this time "

"Eclectic hotel consisting of many different buildings, with a nice inner garden area. Our room was noisy, as it was in a major pathway area and had stairs inside the room. Lots of trip hazards at thresholds. Be aware most European hotels don't have stand alone showers, which requires you to climb into a rather high tub to take a shower..not many grab handles for securing. "Great hotel at a great location. The staff at check in and check out were very friendly, helpful, and went "over and beyond" to ensure we got everything we needed sorted. Good breakfast buffet. Convenient parking garage on premise (although very narrow so requires some advanced driving and parking skills). Overall we had an amazing experience and will come back again. "
