"We love staying here, the location and view is always wonderful. Our room was clean and taken care of, only downfall we noticed this past stay was that the elevator stopped working (things happen, we understand) but also the outdoor showers to rinse your belongings off didn’t work at all. These are minor things but when paying a larger price tag, we do expect everything to be functional. I do wish the breakfast area wasn’t so packed and more spaced out because it gets crowded quickly."

"The lady at check in was super sweet and helpful, the room was a bit of a pain to get into, had to call the front desk to get in bc the instructions were a bit confusing. But the lady waited until I was in the room before she hung up which was nice. Had a room facing the road it was a bit noisy in the evenings with traffic. The rooms super dated, the bed frames were horrible to sleep on, if you didn’t gently slowly get on the bed it would slide across the floor, felt like a rolling chair and...

"This was a great stay and very pet friendly. Wouldn’t be able to tell the pet rooms were that, no odors. Was short walking distance to the beach. Pool was refreshing, however there was a lot of trash around the pool deck that wasn’t maintained. Overall, it was a good stay and we would come back again!"

"The staff was very friendly and check in was seamless. The room was clean and we had no issues when asking for extra towels/blankets/etc. Check out was quick and easy by just dropping the keys in the drop box out front. Will definitely consider this place again for a stay in Nags Head."

"This property is so cute and so close to Nags Head Beach! The property manager, Cindy, was really responsive to our needs (extra pillows, a broom to sweep the sand in our room, etc). The only negative was all the people smoking outside of their rooms made it hard to enjoy the turquoise Adirondack chairs and Edison bulb string lights, but there’s nothing the property can do about that. I would definitely recommend this property!"

The entire experience feels peaceful, upscale, and incredibly welcoming, especially for dog owners. One of the best parts is the private beach access, where you can spend the entire day relaxing with your pups. "Older hotel with tight parking for larger than car vehicles. Beach access is very nice. For the price I don't have any real complaints."

"Was able to upgrade to one of the cottages for our stay, which was great, loved being able to park our bikes right in front of our door. The guy at the front desk was super nice and very respectful of my time. Got me in and out at check in super quick. The showers a little small, which was a little hard to get in as a larger person. Wish the walls were just a bit thicker bc I could hear everything from our neighbors in the evening and when they got up super early in the mornings, but a good set...

"The floors were very sandy. I just checked my credit card and I was charged $200.00 for the pet fee that I was quoted $100.00. Their dog park was full of holes and tall weeds. I asked when they were going to cut the tall weeds and 5 days later the weeds all around the hotel still hadn’t been cut. For a Marriott that place needed a lot of maintenance work inside and outside. The breakfast was okay and the clean up ladies were very nice."
