The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were exceptional, the service was so nice, the room was stunning, and the onsen baths were such a relaxing treat. The location is perfect, right near the train station and the Hakone loop, making everything so easy. A truly unforgettable stay we loved every moment."

"I can't wait to come back to Hakone Yutowa. The entire property is beautiful with 2 private onsens and a social space/library on the lobby floor with free snacks and drinks. The garden outside was so serene and really adds to the Hakone experience. It was also within walking distance to the Open Air Museum which is super convenient. "

"This was an amazing option to stay at for two nights. We could drop our bags, do the Hakone Gora loop clockwise with a bus stop 1 min from the door, with delicious sushi and a convenience store nearby too (for breakfeast options). Having the the Open Air Museum and a train stop nearby was perfect. The place itself was tidy, warm, had all the essentials we needed, plus a generously sized bathtub (with TV) to relax after completing the loop. The views were beautiful too."

"Incredibly attentive staff and a beautiful location. It feels like a hidden gem, and like you were transported into another world. It was such a stark contrast from Tokyo and was a real breath of fresh air. The food was excellent, the room was incredibly comfortable, and the outdoor hot spring was just delightful. This is also one of the few ryokans that is tattoo friendly, which was a big place for us."

Can walk to Hakone Open Air Museum-16 minutes on a track.I had the double room - used the 2 futons so it was very comfortable on the tatami mat."
