"Our stay at Gora Kadan was the highlight of our trip! The staff were so kind and accommodating and the room was beautiful. We plan to come back on our next trip to Japan!"
"Our second visit, this time we travel with my daughter’s family and grandson. This is a few Onsen hotel that allows children to use their public onsen. He enjoyed this new experience and all of us have a great time to enjoy the facilities and fine Japanese dinner. Since this is my second visit, our family was offer free lounge access and late checkout. Something we did not expect. So thank you!"
"Hotel indigo has amazing service. The check in process was clear and ringing staff for help was easy. Everything was clean and well put together. My expectations were exceeded when staying here."
"Booked only for one night. Wished we would have booked for another stay. Beautiful property. Utilize the free shuttle available from the train station to the hotel. Don’t attempt to walk especially if carrying luggage as there are steep hills. You will be asked to remove your shoes before entering hotel so make sure you have decent socks on as this is a shoeless property."
"This was the most pleasant and luxurious stay that I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. From the moment you walk onto the property to the moment you check-out, the staff are there to help you with luggage, check-in, settling in, and planning your days both on the property and to see the surrounding area. This property is located in the gorgeous mountains of Hakone an offers the most gorgeous views of the mountains right from the room and balconies where you can bathe in your private onsen. Also included in your stay are traditional breakfast and dinner which on their own are worth the price. This experience is nothing short of amazing and I would recommend anyone travelling to Japan to experience at least one night here."
"I was wowed. To be honest, pictures don’t do this justice. It’s a place you can get lost in- in the most beautiful way possible. It is the most scenic stay I’ve experienced to date. It inspires poetry and deep thought. It was my brilliant oasis. Thank you! My only qualms were the food- it was bit underwhelming for the price point; however, the dining view, opulence and careful care from staff made up for it a bit."
"we had a party of 5, three adults and two children. we got the room that accommodated eight people, with two overhead bunks and three double beds below. the room was massive with a. couch and a long table, private toilet, private shower room and a “foyer”. loved all the space and very unexpected. there is a men’s and women’s onsen on site. loved the added amenities of free soda and popsicles for guests to cool down after onsen sessions. breakfast was included, more western style but there was a lot of variety. eggs, protein, salad, soup, bread/bagel, etc. we were right next to gora train and bus station with dining options within walking distance. would definitely stay again and one of the more affordable options in the area."
