Stayed in a smaller room as I was traveling alone, everything was very clean, well maintained, and nice amenities included like all the l’occitane soaps, shampoo, and conditioner. They also have a very good breakfast option, with a continental breakfast as the base and hot food options for a small upcharge. But the staff really make this place shine. "We had a delightful one night stay at the Rubens, centrally located right across from Buckingham Palace’s Royal Mews or stables. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the breakfast was served in a gorgeous room with booths and chandeliers. We were traveling with our teen son so the suite with a pull out couch made it a high value fit for us so we could stay in one room. The room decoration was festive and royal feeling. The sweet baked goods were a pleasant surprise. Would definitely stay here...

"This is a high quality hotel in the middle of Westminster and close to the St James Park tube station. The rooms are fitted out to a high standard (tile floors, top quality bathroom fittings etc) and are fully equipped. At a time of very high hotel prices in London this was a good find; a top quality room at a medium (for London) price. I would recommend."
