It is understaffed, staff are not always helpful…(some staff are excellent but clearly too far stretched) whilst others are poor.A leaking shower base meant my trousers got wet, instead of offering to sort them (as I would expect for a conde Nast hotel) I was told to dry them with a hairdryer. No turn down service, and we were offered a free drink to compensate, asked for baileys - but there was a huge problem with that and...

"We had an amazing stay at Hotel 41. They always exceed expectations and have the best customer service. We were traveling with four teenagers, and they very generously upgraded us to beautiful suites. Food at the hotel is excellent. Everything was clean and comfortable. It's our favorite place to stay in London."

"My favorite hotel in London. since 1963 The Staff are always accommodating and this year, they even celebrated my birthday. Breakfast is not only traditionally English but magnifically displayed. No request to big, they happily serve. M&S and Victoria Station right out their back door. The Mews and Palace just an easy walk with shops and restaurants to temp any purse or palate."

"The staff was great and the room very clean and well kept. However upon our arrival, located directly in front of the entrance doors were 3 homeless people and a pitbull running off the leash. Not the welcome party you are expecting at this type of hotel. I overheard another guest complain to the front desk about the same thing. The AC was also not the best in our room."

"Fabulous! Apartment was exactly as pictured. View of Westminster and London Eye from balcony was extra special. Plenty of room for family of 5. Close to all transport, shops, restaurants, parks, etc. Grab some waters and essentials from the Tesco around the corner and you are all set. Would definitely return!"
