"I recently stayed at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge and had an excellent experience. The location is outstanding and hard to beat for sightseeing in London. Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, the London Eye, Uber Boat services, and several HOHO bus stops are all within easy walking distance. Buckingham Palace is also a pleasant walk away. My room was comfortable and well-equipped with a comfortable bed and pillows, a safe, mini-fridge, kettle, coffee and tea facilities, and even a lovely view of Big Ben. There was an ice bucket and an ice dispenser on every floor. The room is equipped with a safe, mini fridge, a US power outlet, a USB and USB-C port. The hotel staff were welcoming, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay. I arrived after an overnight flight and the front desk (Tiffany) kindly allowed me to check in about three hours early so I could rest and refresh, which I greatly appreciated. The doorman is excellent. He has the biggest smile & he helped me locate my airport pickups london driver. I signed up for the eco-housekeeping option and received a £10 food voucher, yet housekeeping still came daily to make the bed, refresh towels, and empty the trash. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of choices. My recommendation is to add breakfast when making your reservation, as it cost about £17 when booked in advance compared to approximately £25 if purchased separately. Safe to walk at night."

"Fantastic stay at The Rubens! Beautiful hotel, perfect location opposite Buckingham Palace, and spotless rooms. The staff made it truly special – Manager "Adam" was incredibly attentive and ensured everything was perfect. "Alicia and Paul" at the front desk were so kind, helpful and always went the extra mile with recommendations and service. Genuine hospitality from start to finish. Will definitely be back!"

"We booked this for our 35th wedding anniversary stayed Sunday evening. My wife had received a gift voucer for an afternoon tea in advance, so we had time to unpack our bags before heading down. Afternoon tea was delicious Madhu served us he was very attentive. Not a great choice of teas on offer and we were the only ones there. In hindsight we should have had it in the bar as it was soulless. We had breakfast next morning after a good night's sleep. We both chose omelette and added extras from the buffet. Our room was ok but the bathroom did not need the twin sinks they took up too much room. A challenge sitting on the loo as your jammed against a radiator. One sink would mean a bigger shower and some space to move. Apart from that a great location."

"Whilst very very noisy neighbours from 11pm until 2am is not the fault of the hotel staff, but rather the ignorance of the neighbours themselves, I would have preferred security to have been more intent with their actions when asking them to keep the house down, especially after multiple calls to reception due to them becoming excessively noisy every time the security left the floor. No room to do weights in the gym, and the chest press machine was wedged"

"Do not stay here! The room we got was really dirty and had one working outlet. Given that it is such a small and minimalist space, we had hoped the room would at least be clean. The bathroom had a horribly poor design with no shower door, so anytime the shower was turned on, the entire bathroom floor was soaked. There was no way to keep the shower water inside the shower as there was so little gradient to the floor to the drain. The reviews said the hotel had beauty rooms on each floor so I didn’t bring a hair dryer. There are only 2 beauty rooms on floors 3 and 7 and they only had one working hair dryer. Those rooms were also incredibly dirty with hair everywhere. There wasn’t even any space to open up our suitcases, and I know the square footage is described but some floor space to have an open suitcase isn’t even available. So much wasted space in the bathroom and bed frame. We ended up only staying one night here and booked another hotel close by. We just couldn’t stay in the room feeling like we were sleeping in a jail cell. When we checked out early, the staff just said okay well enjoy the rest of your stay. I didn’t expect a refund but maybe a more sincere apology. Might work for some, but the rooms are simply too small and dark for two people. I can’t even imagine having more than two people in a room. If you are traveling with more than one person and want a comfortable stay, just basic hotel necessities, do not stay here."
