"Absolutely wonderful with fantastic staff, comfortable and clean rooms ...did I mention the charming and professional staff? The tea was festive, the jazz nightly was great, and the food at every meal was just great especially breakfast. We can't tell you how much we enjoyed the hotel and its location near British museum and Russell square. Close to underground and just a delight. We will go back. "

"The staff was excellent. They brought my bags to my room and escorted me there when my room was ready. There is no elevator and my room was on the top floor. The hotel is definitely quirky. The lobby had a beautiful real christmas tree and there were a few different sitting rooms throughout the ground level all decorated. I had a single room and the bed was super comfortable. "A very sweet room. We asked for a quiet room so we had a view from 9th floor. Most of the time it was quite. Sometimes we could hear running water or steps from other rooms. Two first mornings the water in the shower was not hot at all. Staff tried to help. It was great at our last morning,staff gave us refund"
