"This was a perfect place to experience Japan. It had traditional Japanese accomodations and food but also with many high tech conveniences. The staff was very helpful in getting us taxis to easily visit locations like the imperial palace or the Bamboo Forest. "The room smells like it has a bad drainage system. Once we enter the room and it smells like the toilet has been backed up. The fabric spray provided was useless. Attitude of staff were mixed, some discrimination were definitely present. Felt harrassed by the staff to settle the bill due to deciding to have extra guest in the room which we also had already decided to pay for. "

"The lounge is great with free snacks and drinks and games. The breakfast was also quite good. The staff was nice as well. Our room didn't have a view, but was spacious with a nice bathroom. It's a ten minute drive from the train station, lots of good restaurants close by."

"Prachtige kamer en mooi modern hotel op 3 minuten lopen van metrohalte. Mooie publieke onsen die erg rustig was en groot. Geen kastruimte en 2 kleine laatjes, onhandig voor 4 nachten. Uitstekende keuken, maar personeel in horeca gedeelte niet erg professioneel, stak schril af bij personeel aan receptie."

"This was a lovely hotel! Great location close to the metro and only two stops up from Kyoto Station; it’s right next to the market and a lot of shopping and restaurants. It was very easy for us to get around to all the sights we wanted to see! The room itself was huge and clean. The beds were possibly the most comfy hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. The staff were very kind and also helped me ship my luggage at the end. We would absolutely stay here again!"
