"The room smells like it has a bad drainage system. Once we enter the room and it smells like the toilet has been backed up. The fabric spray provided was useless. Attitude of staff were mixed, some discrimination were definitely present. Felt harrassed by the staff to settle the bill due to deciding to have extra guest in the room which we also had already decided to pay for. "

"Of all the places we stayed during our Japan trip, this was the best hotel we stayed in. The service was impeccable. "This was one of my best experiences traveling to Kyoto. The staff at check-in were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy. All the amenities were conveniently located, and we easily found everything we needed. We were traveling with our 1-year-old child, and having an entire house to ourselves—including space to store a stroller, a tatami room, and a proper bathroom—made our trip especially comfortable and enjoyable."
