"The Zilara informed us 3 hours before our flight that they would not be open and booked us at the Ziva. We had confirmed with the Zilara the day before and had booked cabana’s. At that point we couldn’t cancel flights and decided to go. Zilara then texted at 10:00 pm the day we arrived that they were in fact open and we could move there. At that point we were unbacked at the Ziva and had no confidence that the Zilara was ready as we saw construction equipment at the hotel. "

The room itself felt outdated, which made the overall stay uncomfortable and unpleasant. "The resort itself is very nice. Pools and property kept very clean, staff very attentive and the food, especially at the restaurants was excellent. I had an ocean front room in the center section; very nice. Had to be moved 2 times during a 4 night stay. Room was very humid but thought AC turned up. AC would not cool, stayed very humid. Thermostat was also broken. Female mgr saw it flash on/off on its own & temp changed! Had to move. Some rooms have an AC system that needs more coolant added or...
