"Amazing property!!! 100% would recommend. The room was absolutely beautiful! Loved the huge in room tub. My only small complaint was the pillows were too hard and the hotel didn’t have any others available. But I would still absolutely recommend and stay there again!"

"The room smells like it has a bad drainage system. Once we enter the room and it smells like the toilet has been backed up. The fabric spray provided was useless. Attitude of staff were mixed, some discrimination were definitely present. Felt harrassed by the staff to settle the bill due to deciding to have extra guest in the room which we also had already decided to pay for. "

"This was a perfect place to experience Japan. It had traditional Japanese accomodations and food but also with many high tech conveniences. The staff was very helpful in getting us taxis to easily visit locations like the imperial palace or the Bamboo Forest. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wishes to have a great experience in Kyoto. "

"My family and my friends are extremely happy with this hotel. Our room was spacious for Japan standard and came with high ceiling. Our room had a sitting area with a coffee table, a desk with a turn-table and some records, a good size closet, a mini fridge, a bench at the door, a separate toilet with sink, a spacious bathroom with double sinks, a tub and a shower. "Good location. Beautiful rooms at a great price. We loved the lounge, where drinks and snacks are served all day. So nice to relax there after a long day. The only thing we didn’t love was that although the windows were large and let in light, the views are blocked. Other than that, we love this place."

"This was a wonderful boutique property in a central, yet quiet Downtown Kyoto location, really close to a train station and within walking distance to many popular and special sights, plus restaurants, shops, and convenience stores all around the area. "The rooms were quite a good size for Japan and the place is spotlessly clean. They have a 24/7 area where you can get water, fruit juices, tea, coffee and they have a machine that will dispense beer or wine for 500 YEN (coin only, this needs to be changed to a credit card to make it easier). They put out bread and overbaked croissants everyday, maybe add crisps and nuts in packets, as i saw one person put their hand in the nut jar! "This hotel is in an excellent location, close to restaurants and transportation. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our family booked the moderate large Japanese style room. It was extremely clean although a bit small since the mats were laid out. If you're not used to the Japanese style, the mats can be a bit uncomfortable. There is a fully stocked communal kitchen on the 4th floor. We didn't use it except to wash and refill our water bottles but saw other guests cook and eat there. There...
