As a first time international traveller I highly recommend the Hotel Oriental Express in Ginza West. The staff are exceptional in the respect for residents care. Their knowledge of events and other services helped me to navigate successfully knowing where to go for food, fun, culture, etc and how to get there.

The location is great, very close to the station connecting to various lines and also a lot of dining options nearby. The rooms are very quiet. Also, it's connected to a convenience store, which I used to send my luggage to the next hotel since this hotel did not have luggage forwarding services with major carriers. I was also expecting a newer facility as it opened this year, but the rooms were outdated and not renovated.

All Staff were extremely helpful and well versed in English. Room was good sized for a couple, cleaned daily and amenities plentiful. Great food establishments right outside, with a 24-hour Lawson’s on 1st floor.

Tons of food nearby, close to train station. There is a Lawson at the bottom of the hotel which is so nice and convenient. The room is very small but you can make do but you will be completely stepping over all your luggage and it gets cramped quickly. The bathroom was nicer than other double bed rooms I’ve stayed in in Japan. The staff were helpful and nice and the hotel never felt crowded. It had laundry I just never used it but there was no onsen in it to my knowledge. It was easy to get back after a long day of walking and the area had a lot of food around. The bed was kind of hard but some people may like that. I requested more pillows and they brought them promptly and were very accommodating. Overall very nice would recommend!!

This is my second time I used this hotel. It is very convenient location.. it is very close to train station and there were so Many restaurants and convenience stores. One of the convenience store is connect from the front desk area… the room is clean and quiet. If you have a huge suitcase, it might be a little tight once your suitcase is opened.

Stayed here for my biz trip in Tokyo. There’s a free coffee machine at 1sr floor which is convenient. The facility is clean and comfortable, also the service is good. The only point that didn’t fit to me is that the pillows are too hard, others are good. :)

Property advertised as new property but more like a resurfacing. Lobby, elevator, and hallway seemed new but the rooms were not. The shower curtains for throughout the bathroom had mold and table area had a thick layer of dust. Pro was lawson was right next door and many restaurants close by

appreciated the bath salts available in the lobby - was very much needed after a long day of walking! found the hotel to be a little worn for something that had relaunched in april 2026, but was suitable for one female traveler and the light-up vanity was very useful!
