Staff were friendly. The resort location was very nice. The beach was quiet, calm and very nice. We liked the hammocks in the water. We also enjoyed the lounge chairs in the pool. The pool was as also very nice. We enjoyed the restaurants. You have to reserve on the hotel app same day or before and it was well worth it. We also liked the free pirate boat road. This is a nice play to stay with family with small children.

Like - rooms felt safe. Beautiful beach access. Cery decent coffee. Fresh fruit available. Didnt like - felt rundown. Food at buffett and a la carte restaurants was not good. Rooms are small. Mirrors are peeling. Vents are dirty. 3rd floor roof tops, visible from 5th floor are filthy. Elevator stopped working with people inside.

The room was clean and spacious. They didn't do a great job with refilling the fridge with water. But they did have a coffee shop in the lobby where you could get water. The drinks were ok but watered down, we think it was alcohol free beer too. The two buffet restaurants were ok. Some of the food was good, some was not. The a la carte restaurants looked good, but it was impossible to get a reservation, even though we tried making the reservation as soon as we woke up, so we never got to try any of the other restaurants. The beach was beautiful and every morning they would rake the seaweed to keep it nice and clean. The pool was freezing. One of our kids (6 years old) got stuck in the bathroom and the staff didn't seem to care much and said oh it happened to someone else a few days ago too and that she just had to keep trying. She finally got out but cut herself on the lock. The overall experience was ok and not what we had expected. Some of the restaurant staff were very friendly and some were not. The hotel staff were friendly but they didn't go through anything with us when we checked in. They didn't tell us what there was to do in the hotel as far as shows and activities. We found that out on our second day when we asked a question and we were told to download their app. That would have been nice to know at check-in.

Unfortunately, our experience at Grand Oasis Palm Cancun was disappointing. The elevators rarely worked properly, often requiring long waits or using the stairs. The hotel interior, the levators and room corridors were uncomfortably warm, with poor ventilation and no air circulation. At the beach, there were long lines for both food and drinks, making it hard to enjoy the experience. The room was very outdated and poorly maintained, and the bathroom was in even worse condition, showing signs of wear and lack of upkeep. The beach in front of the hotel is absolutely beautiful, with warm and Cristal water, but the hotel infrastructure and service need significant improvement.

Was a nice stay. What pulled down the review. The place lost electricity during the night on our last day. But it was on they day we were leaving so was less bothersome. The two buffets for dinner on the Palm side were pretty bad. Food was never hot. Milk in the one was not even refrigerated. The buffet on the Sens side was good. But you need to have a black premium wristband to eat there. The Ala carte places were very good. Enjoyed the Cocoa and Mika Taco. Very good meals there. Breakfast was good. But once again food was cool to luke warm. The beach was nice however if you didn’t have your chairs reserved with towels by 8 am. They were gone. Definitely do not have enough chairs when capacity is full. But water was warm. Limited sea grass. Pools we did not use as they were cold Drinks were very good. The bars on the sens side were always less busy with minimal lines. Our beach waiter on the Sens side was outstanding. He deserved every tip we gave him. Room as clean. Maybe a bit dated but slept well in the bed and temp was cool. Always well stocked on the room fridge. Staff was nice. Overall for what we paid is was ok. Fix the cold food at buffets and chair availability on the beach and I easily could have gone 4 outta 5. Our MTS was outstanding. The drivers were friendly. Our driver to airport was extremely friendly even singing to us alone the way. And the airport. Impressive how they got people through both incoming and outgoing.

Room was ok for price, check in process was bad, had to wait till 3pm and some more after that because they only had one staff member checking you in and line was very long, restaurant staff was rude all the time, i am a generous tipper but if they think you weren't gonna tip they would be rude, app reservations for restaurant wasn't working, so it was a free for all had to wait more than 3 hours to eat in a restaurant thats all included, pools are ok, the beach had no waves so it was good for kids
