Overall, we had an amazing time here and would definitely return.
Starting with check in — we had diamond club and it was smooth, easy and seamless. This was the same for check out.
We arrived on a Saturday and met our butler (Daniel and Steff). Our room was not ready so we went to the pool to wait (we packed bathing suits in our carry on). The DC pool & beach and the regular pool & beech were both PACKED! There wasn’t a single available chair and this was around 1130am. We managed to find 2 chairs by the “jetted” pool and stayed there. They had food available at munchies as well as the poolside grill.
We ventured up to Level 18 rooftop to find ourselves all alone at a foam party (it was actually kinda cool having the place to ourselves). DC members get drinks included up there and we never had any issues with overcrowding on the rooftop (although they weren’t always open)
Sunday was still a little crowded but we got to the pool early with plenty of seats available and as the week went on, it got even better. The temperature of the pools was pretty cold (we went the last week of Feb) but the ocean was quite enjoyable. Our wish was that there was atleast 1 hot tub on site, other than the sauna.
The room we had was a lagoon view and it was perfect for us. It was clean and staff was always attentive if we needed them. Shower was big and the bed was comfortable. There was a slight foul smell from the faucet and shower water though — brush your teeth with the bottled w
