eck-in was smooth, the hotel was very clean, and the rooms were spacious, although I was disappointed that despite requesting a king bed months in advance, I received two queen beds.
The food was one of the best parts of the stay. The buffet had an excellent variety, especially seafood, with delicious made-to-order breakfast omelets and flavorful dinner options. The steakhouse was outstanding — excellent food, attentive service, and easily a 5/5 experience.
The staff were mostly very helpful, especially the Vibes Crew, who kept the atmosphere lively with fun activities throughout the day, and the concierge, who was excellent with transport advice and local recommendations.
The location is fantastic, within walking distance of Coco Bongo Cancun and the main nightlife area, plus a nearby flea market.
The biggest downside was the timeshare-style sales pitch disguised as “special discounts” at check-in, which felt very pressured and took up valuable vacation time. The Chopsticks Asian restaurant was also extremely disappointing, with poor service and bland, poorly prepared food.
Overall, despite a few negatives, the clean facilities, great food, excellent daytime activities, and prime location made this a very enjoyable stay. I would definitely return, but would skip the sales presentation and avoid the Asian restaurant.
