"The room was not ready when we checked in at 7pm. The shower had mould on the tiles. There were dirty sheets on the floor in the corridors - when we checked in and still there when we checked out. Room was noisy. Food was OK but not great. I wouldn’t stay here again."

"Was good for 1 night stay. Breakfast was nice. Staff super helpful and friendly. Only negative was the slamming doors at night. The bedroom doors require a good slam to shut them so this made it a little disruptive at night. Other than that it was a great little place to stay."

"One of the best service hotels we have stayed at. Room was a nice size, clean but could have done with a bit more dusting. No shower gel in the shower. We could have asked due some but things like this should be checked before letting out the room. However staff were very friendly. The restaurant served quite nice meals. Buffet breakfast is very good too. Love the black pudding. Definitely would stay here again. It's quiet considering it's at a service area. 8/10 from us."

The only let down was the bar/restaurant area. The levels of noise from the assorted screens, the shouting and screaming was ridiculous. "Overall, my experience was positive with a few minor drawbacks. My room was located in a separate building, just above the gym. There were no lifts, so this could be an issue for people with mobility issues. The room itself was on the smaller side but had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed and pillows were really comfy. However, one downside was the loud music coming from the gym. Even though my room was two floors above, the noise was noticeable and a bit disruptive at times...

"Certainly not as nice as the photos make out. We would not stay again and do not recommend it. Poor nights sleep for many reasons. Not a good shower. Smelly bathroom, noisy fridge, very light in room at night due to fire exit light in room ...hard pillows. Also very glad breakfast wasn't included based on what we saw. Overpriced for what it is. "

Staff were very dog friendly hotel isn't really. Nowhere to walk the dog really just a carpark and small courtyard. "Stayed Sun to Mon over bank hol wkend. Billed as a spa hotel in country so we thought we would relax. ...But the calamity of errors begun. I would not stay here again. Beautilul venue in a lovely setting, ruined by servises, staff, facilities with a "no can do" attitude."
