"I almost don’t want to write this because part of me wants to keep it a hidden gem, but this place deserves the recognition. We stayed for a full week and loved everything about it. The property is beautiful, with a perfect mix of rustic charm and a cozy, hostel-like feel. Lush plants, gorgeous pools, and such a relaxing atmosphere made it hard to leave. And the AC!!!! Truly the best we’ve ever had traveling!!! It made a huge difference during the hottest week of the year in PDC! The location is unbeatable, right next to the plaza. Starting at 5pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, there’s a lively market right outside the front doors with live singers, amazing food, and local vendors. It made the whole experience feel so vibrant. Breakfast was a highlight every single day: HUGE plates of fresh, ripe fruit, fresh-squeezed orange juice, delicious coffee, and some of the best hot breakfasts I’ve ever had! (Best Huevos divorciados ever!!) But what really makes this place special is the staff. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and you can tell how much they care. A special thank you to Omar and Santos!!! You made our stay unforgettable. Even though we were probably those slightly chaotic Americans that asked far too many ridiculous questions, you were always kind, funny, and so helpful. You both work incredibly hard, and it truly shows. Beautiful, affordable, and full of heart!!!! We will absolutely be back… even if I wish I could keep it to myself."

"I had a great stay @ The Reef 28. The hydrotherapy @ the spa was exceptional, differently one of the highlights of my trip. The bed was very comfortable, the hotel was very clean, the food was really. It would be great if the pool area had more chaise lounge chairs. Folks with day passes took them early and stayed all day so I didn't get a chance to take advantage of that experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel!"

"The property lost power for our last evening. When we asked for water bottles they said they had none and the water would be fixed in a few hours, no water or power in the morning. No notice from the hotel. Also the rooftop amenity is not attached to the room. It also has no beach access, which isn’t super clear. Staff was not super helpful when asking for assistance with curtesy shuttles, giving differing and vague information. The website indicates they have a spa and a gym, but both are not on site. Very misleading."

"Check in super smooth and efficient and everything worked perfectly . In not sure why it doesnt have a higher rating . Staff was great . I dont have anything negative to say. Great job"
