"Our first time back in Belize in 18 years . Umaya was the perfect place. The views over the lagoon towards the Maya mountains are perfect backdrop after a day at the beach and pool. The staff were great, very helpful with booking trips etc. The restaurant is excellent and the wood burning Pizzeria provides a great alternative. We will be back "

"We loved the eco friendly concept, and the resort and staff were wonderful. The food at the Rhum Shack was exceptionally good, and our compliments to the chefs. Our room was upgraded due to a birthday, which was appreciated. The beach was fantastic as were the pools. Andrew was the Concierge, and our tour guide on a full day tour to the ruins and cave diving. He was excellent, knowledgeable, and very professional! We enjoyed the tours so much thanks to him."

The staff from the office was friendly and gladly showed us where to find Captain Jaks to prepare for the next day’s adventure. I recommend booking the Serenade Hotel as it's affordable and has excellent security. "
