When going to a tropical area, and after seeing pictures of the clearest blue water and when you arrive and the waters brown filled with sargasm (seaweed) that looks like boulders and absolutely stinks to the high heavens there’s a problem! "The resort is beautiful and the casita was very well laid out. The only negative about the room was the couch and chairs were pretty uncomfortable. Also, be aware the casitas have several steps going between living room and kitchen; kitchen and bedroom, and then bedroom and bathroom, so be careful of tripping. Also, the web site does state it, but you have to look, during slow season the indoor restaurant is closed, so the only option is the pool bar or driving the golf cart to another...

"It was a nice stay. cons are: I kept getting kickoff the wifi. Every room should have a t.v for children and adults that don't go to the bars or night life. Not that much so=un around pool because of all the trees. Beautiful place and wonderful staff."

"I had a wonderful stay at the Fort George Hotel! The hotel was very clean and well maintained, which made our stay comfortable from the moment we arrived. "Ms.Ronna was AMAZING! I was solo traveling for the first time, and she helped me to feel welcomed and safe! She was also very resourceful in regards to local restaurants, excursions, and transportation options. The views were beautiful and the atmosphere was peaceful. "It was an okay stay for one night , they had helpful and friendly staff , I was kind of disappointed that there was no refrigerator in the room, and the dinning down stairs don’t offer much diversity to there menu I was expecting some Belize cuisine on the menu but it was only Chinese food. And also I think the airport shuttle should be free for guest, charging $30 for a 10 minute ride to the Airport is ridiculous."
