"My friend and I booked a stay at “Muna” guest house for this stay. The house was very beautiful and had all amenities you would need! However, when booking, it did not seem to specify in an obvious way that this house would be off of the resort (about a 3-5 minute walk) so this surprised us. Even though it is off the resort you still can use all resort amenities though. Other than that, the guest house was clean, quiet, and beautiful with tons of birds and wildlife around. "

"Paid over $600 US for three people, decided to leave San Pedro earlier than planned due to harassment by hawkers, emailed Amelias explaining would not be checking in, told no problem, go to hotel in person before arrival date for full refund. Went two days before, was told by owners wife there was no record of my booking, no record of my payment or my name, the rooms were already re-rented, and to discuss it with her husband, who was out of country and unavailable."

"I arrived early in the day, and Colin was very responsive and understanding of my situation allowing me to have a room immediately. The room was comfortable and clean. Later in the day, Colin came by to check if I needed anything. Since the nearby restaurants were closed, he personally made the drive to pick up food and deliver it to us. The next day, he even gave us a ride to the airport. His personalized attention meant a lot to me. Thank you to Colin and to the Bomboleo Inn! "

"This beautifully designed lodge, on 4000 acres, is a unique experience. 107 free range horses, parrots, monkeys add to the ambience. Large , comfortable a/c rooms, friendly staff, good restaurant ,and lovely pool, make for a memorable stay. Convenient to many sites. Owner’s wife is an excellent artist and has a gallery there. We loved it!"

"Beck's Bed & Breakfast is a sweet jewel of a place in a remote region of the Crooked Tree Wildlife Refuge (a birder's paradise). Robert and Becky are warm, incredibly knowledgable hosts and provide a respite from the hustle and bustle of vacation stress and more tourist dense areas. If you love birds and plants and two sweet dogs you will love staying here. They had Christmas decorations galore so we didn't miss out on the Christmas spirit. We wish we could have stayed longer.
